Seasons 1-8 is when shippers submit bids for two shipments through uShip in a reverse auction format. Bids are accompanied by comments on probable costs and risks along with the motivations and capabilities. The task is typically assigned to the bidder with the lowest price at the time that the auction closes. However, at the discretion of the client, it can be given to a bidder who has received a better rating in feedback from previous clients. To break any ties, feedback ratings are utilized. Season 9 has shippers receiving their loads from a shipping agent. The bidding process isn't revealed. Shippers load their cargos and try to deliver it in perfect condition within the timeframe set by the client or receiver. When the loads are delivered, feedback ratings are displayed from clients. The show ends by calculating each shipper's revenues and expenses. subtracted from the bid amount for the purpose of determining the overall profits or losses. Sometimes, shippers may arrange to transport multiple loads at the same time, and the additional money is incorporated into their total. In certain instances it is possible that the shipper is in a position to not complete the task due to concerns regarding the size/weight of the load or road safety. One shipper might hire another person to assist with the job. After the task is done and the shippers have decided how to split the proceeds. Seasons 1-8 are full of hilarious criticisms from other shippers.
