Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles in a middle-class family. She grew up with big dreams. Her most memorable roles include the action spy film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the dramatic Precious. Her birthplace was in the middle class family living in Los Angeles and had big hopes for the future. Her mom was a film buff and inculcated a love for movies in her daughter too. Paula loved participating in school co-curriculars and drama was her favorite. Paula was a fan of acting with her classmates, and she participated in the school's stage productions. She acted in many high school plays at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and then decided to pursue acting as a career. It was an enjoyable summer at University of Southern California. The program offered her a three-month contract to produce documentaries on PBS. Her first job was as an assistant to production for TV documentaries following her successful completion of the task. Then she began producing documentaries. Even though she loved her work, she yearned for acting roles. The path to acting began when she had a minor role alongside Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. In the years since, she's appeared in many films and television shows.
