Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, was raised in Wellington) is the name of a Canadian actress from Canada. Paquin, born in Winnipeg and raised by Wellington Paquin's mother, made her acting debut in the role of Flora McGrath. For this role she received the Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress in the romantic comedy The Piano at the young age of 11. She is the second-youngest winner in Oscar History.
