Taylor
Taylor Swift was a rarity in the world of pop music: she was the only celebrity to have moved from the country to mainstream, and to become a pop icon worldwide. Swift removed herself from the country genre like a second skin and proved that she had the best pop sensibility of her generation. Swift was the only musician/singer to take the popular zeitgeist when she went on tour. Swift's early hits, especially the neo tribute to Tim McGraw, showed off the talents of her. The album from 2008 Fearless showed a singer-songwriter who was re-discovering herself and gaining a huge following. Fearless was successful not only in the United States, having six platinum-certified singles. In fact, the Top Ten songs Love Story and I Belong with Me were the primary reasons behind this. However, it did well all over the world. Swift managed to build upon her success through Speak Now almost two year following. With the three albums that followed (Reputation 2017, 1989 2014, and Red 2012) Red 2012 1989, Red 2012 as well as Reputation 2017 -- Swift's fame only grew. That was an obvious indicator that Swift had entered the new music scene where she fit in. When she reduced her sound by releasing stripped-down albums like 2020, folklore and Evermore but she was still on top. This position was maintained by re-recordings from her past catalog, as in Midnights, her synth-heavy chart-topping 2022 album.
